Installed on a HK 416 .22 – took some sanding on the back strap and had to ream out the hammer spring clearance hole to allow for proper function. Could not pull the bolt back on it the first time I put it on. After removing a slight amount of material from the inside of the back strap to get it to seat evenly against the lower receiver. The feel is nice, I like the thumb rest.

This is not a simple bolt on grip for the Colt M4 Walther Umarex 22 LR AR 15 rifle! Part of the hammer mechanism protrudes into the original grip. A hole is provided in the stock grip. You must drill out a hole to copy the original grip. Screw provided will not work. You must reuse the original grip screw.
After fitting it, it’s far better then the original grip. Well worth the work.
